Looking for some places or events to hang out and chill for a while after a long week at work? Take your well-deserved break in these events in the DC Metro area! You sure know this has been a much awaited break for yourself and your loved ones.

1. 2022 Meadowlark's Winter Walk of Lights

From Friday, November 11, 2022, through Sunday, January 8, 2023, the Meadowlark's Winter Walk of Lights is open each evening, including all holidays. This year, Meadowlark Botanical Gardens glows with displays of flowers, animals, lit trees, and winter/holiday themes.

2. 2022 Bull Run Festival of Lights

The 2022 Bull Run Festival of Lights is a 2.5 mile drive-through of festive light displays, walk-through Christmas Village and Carnival. The show is open nightly from November 11, 2022 through January 8, 2023. Check them out and have yourself a wonderful holiday celebration!

3. Gatsby's DC Fireworks New Year's Eve Yacht Party 2023

Looking for something a bit different? Celebrate the New Year's Eve in Gatsby's DC Fireworks Yacht Party! The ultimate Great Gatsby-inspired party on the water offers 360-degree views of the DC fireworks display from the water. There has never been a better opportunity to explore Washington Harbor for an off-land retreat!

4. Santa Bar Crawl

If you're into some bar crawls this weekend, then this event is for you. Buckle up your Santa suit, zip up your Christmas onesies, donning your ugly sweaters, or lacing up your elf outfits. On Saturday, December 10th from 2pm to 10pm, Santa Bar Crawl will invade DC. Amazing drink deals, freebies, live entertainment, and exclusive access to nearly all of Dupont's premier restaurants are all available to participants.

5. 2022 Garden of Lights at Brookside Gardens, Montgomery Parks

Explore the 50 acres of Wheaton's outdoor glittering lights and glistening displays that line the walkways and flowerbeds. Handcrafted creative works featuring animals, flowers, and other natural aspects are created using more than one million bright and vibrant LED lights.

On November 18, 2022, Brookside Gardens and Montgomery Parks will begin their annual winter season. With the exception of November 21–24 and December 24–25, 2022, the exhibit is open every night through January 1, 2023.
